excellent welcome.
qualified staff, large and many clean rooms not to mention the lovely terrace. the restaurant is special here you can taste the true flavors of the place. excellent location a few steps from the Amalfi coast.
we will definitely be back, Thank you
Had a wonderful experience because of the charming staff, beautiful background, and delightful food.
I was greeted by the owner i on arrival with a free bottle of wine and some local food, it was excellent.
They were also able to arrange a Vespa rental and taxi to the airport for me, everyone there was extremely helpful and kind.
The only down side is that it is I bit difficult to get to but worth the trek.
Rooms were very smelly from humidity, they don’t change the towels and also every morning from 6 o’clock was too much noise from machines that workings at the yard cracking rocks! Two nights they had a wedding reception and until 11 o’clock the music and the fireworks were annoying! Breakfast wasn’t variable but ok!The location and the view of the hotel was stunning!
We arrive to the hotel and looked nothing like the pictures on expedia we had to argue that with the hotel staff (they basically took the best picture from every room) and posted it on expedia saying all rooms looked the same- they tried to blame expedia for the advertising, we eventually find a room that was close to what we booked. All rooms smelt dusty, all beds were extremely uncomfortable. One night we came home after our room was cleaned found ants on our bed. Our check out experience was a disaster as well that's a long storey. The only thing good was the view. The hotel also claimed it iwas in the centre of everything... its not its a 1 hour bus ride to amalfi and another 40 min to another town if you want to move around. The staff did try to rectify issues but wayyy too many issues! There's some staff that don't speak English which I get and understand but it's hard when your in a rush to catch buses!
Every morning at 07:00 o’clock had constructions during the high season and we couldn’t sleep well! Also the bed mattress was hard. An other point that we didn’t like it was the breakfast! For a four star hotel the breakfast was sooo poor . In the end the staff in reception (only the man) he doesn’t speak English! We couldn’t communicate on the room phone when we called the reception.
Nice choice with a great wide view on Amalfi coast, the owner is very friendly and the staff very helpful. The breakfast is limited choice but good to go and I have to mention the adorable Croissants "thanks for the chef 😍". There is a bus station around the corner, which is a good option even it's sometimes crowded.
You will not find a place that is more full of genuine care and service to her guests, everyone will try to make your stay perfect. The owner Pepe is super caring and genuinely hospitable and will give you all the best tips for everything in the area, the views from the rooms are on the beautiful coastline as well as the breakfast and dinner area
Amazing decor and place for a beautiful wedding with all the romance you would like. There was a wedding during my stay, with rims of large beautiful flowers and roses along the balustrade outside and above and on the tables, white candles everywhere inside and outside very romantic atmosphere with lightworks to portray on a wall. On top of the amazing service there is a authentic cuisine that will make your mouth water, risotto with fish. Pasta with fish, i highly recimmend staying here with this view and all the kind people and owner who will make you feel right at home.
My wife and I stayed here to explore the Amalfi coast and it was wonderful. The staff were incredibly welcoming and their service was stellar, and the views from the hotel are incredible.
My only advice to travelers (this is general advice--not really to do with the hotel itself) is to be mindful of the logistical difficulty of traveling around Amalfi. The buses up and down the mountain can be intimidating for some and their schedules are less than ideal, especially if you're trying to line it up with the ferries between Amalfi, Posetano, etc. However, the staff at Sant'Orsola will give good advice about how to navigate through all of this.
